Palate is a lovely kid-friendly restaurant located in the National Wildlife Museum of Jackson Hole across from the Elk Reserve.

This kid-friendly restaurant is situated inside the National Wildlife Museum of Art located in Jackson.  The dining room and terrace overlook the mountains and National Elk Refuge.  In the warmer months, dining on the terrace is an added bonus, not only for the view but it's also a great spot for the kids to stretch their legs while waiting for the meal to arrive.  On occasion, there has been a musician, prompting an impromptu dance by my granddaughter.  The children's menu is reasonably priced and offers an assortment of kid-friendly choices.  Young artists might enjoy decorating cookies for dessert with multi-colored icings and sprinkles.  The adult menu does not disappoint with the variety of locally sourced choices.   For a meal or just a snack Palate is a great spot to relax before or after a day at the National Wildlife Museum of Art.
