Beautifully landscaped, Park365 is the largest accessible playground in Richmond.
PARK365 (formerly known as ARCpark) is the one place where we can all play together. All year long. Designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities, but still full of amazing fun and adventures for all people and many ages Park365 is one of a kind. Here you will find swings, slides, a toddler play structure, a big play structure, more slides galore, a water cranking table area, a sensory wall, a big treehouse with a wheelchair ramp, and a stage with natural wood log sitting area. The landscape is beautiful including a garden area, fort, and basketball courts. There’s a corner of musical instruments, but people keep taking the sticks so there aren’t many available.
The landscaping is great, clean, and very well kept. The rubber mulch is super convenient and tidy, and there is endless land to roam. There are 3 large well-maintained bathrooms as well as teach and recycling receptacles throughout the playground. There are ample areas to sit and eat, including a sheltered pavilion with 9-12 picnic tables. A large portion of the tables even have wheelchair accessibility or one long side and both ends. I’ve seen many birthday parties hosted here under the large pavilion area.
This playground is truly a wonderful place for people of all ages and abilities. Almost every piece of equipment (including the treehouse) is wheelchair accessible and the space is large enough that finding a quiet spot when the noise gets too overwhelming is never hard. There are different spaces for each age group (baby, toddler, kid, and sitting area for adults)! Honestly, this park really has it all and is probably the biggest and most beautiful parks I’ve seen in Richmond and the surrounding areas.
Park 365 is fully gated and right off the highway (64/95/195 intersection). It’d be a great pit spot to run off some energy on a road trip. I’d bring sunscreen as all the areas aren’t shaded, drinks as the fountains aren’t currently working, and maybe a change of clothes if your littles like to get submerged in water tables.
