Head Outside and Enjoy Some Family Fun at This Great Space.

Located in Scottsdale, Sereno Park has a playground,  baseball field, softball field, soccer field, horse arena, and restrooms. This park is actually operated by the city of Phoenix. The playground area features two play structures and two swing sets. The first play structure, geared to preschool/toddler age, has slides, steps, climbing, and interactive play stations. The second play structure, geared towards elementary age, has several big slides, climbing, steps, bridges, and interactive play. The swing sets have both traditional and baby swings.

There are no picnic tables in the park or trees for shade at this park. It also lacks shade on the playground, so it can get pretty warm. There are times when the mature trees do shade the park, but you will want to come early morning or at night during the summer. The restrooms are close to the playground, which is also nice. This park is generally not busy, so you don't have to worry about it getting overcrowded.  There is a baseball and softball field and a soccer field for older kids to run and play on.

There is a paved path around the playground area, so bring scooters, ride on's, and bikes for the young ones. When horses are using the arena, it is a big hit with the kids. Always be respectful and ask owners to approach the arena. There is a large open space great for running and playing with balls, frisbee, or flying kites. This park is well maintained and clean.

Overall this is a great little park to enjoy to get outside. Check out Sereno Park for your next family adventure.
