On our way into Burlington VT we stopped into The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory. BEST DECISION EVER!

We signed up for the next tour and happily walked around the cute gift shop while waiting for our tour to begin.  The tour was great! It's amazing the lengths this company goes through to make the bears as lifelike as possible.  The tour guide did a great job of involving the kids with hands on experiences while simultaneously keeping the adults interested and entertained.  We got to see the step by step process of how the bears are made and also how they are fixed in the "hospital."   The bears have a lifetime warranty and the guides are sure to remind you that it's the "bear's lifetime" and not yours, meaning forever.  No matter the incident (ie dog attack, "well loved", etc...) Dr. Nancy will fix or replace your beloved teddy in the hospital.  We witnessed a little girl bringing in her teddy for treatment and the staff had even asked the little girl if her teddy had any known allergies 😂.  They go above and beyond to make the experience special.  After the tour my boys were excited to make their own. Robbie chose a jointed bear which means that his bear's head, arms, and legs can move. He got to pick each body part and then help put it together before stuffing it and filling out its birth certificate ($60). My younger son Sam chose the plush bear which is super soft and was built like your standard teddy bear ($40).
