Ants Pants Cafe is a delicious cozy brunch spot, adored by the residents of the Graduate Hospital neighborhood.

Ants Pants is located at 22nd and South Street. The cozy cafe is a neighborhood favorite brunch spot. Ants Pants Cafe is Australian-inspired, serving drinks that are unique to Australia such as Aussie Iced Coffee, Long Black, and Aussie Iced Chocolate. Brunch dishes include a variety of hashes, homemade pancakes and French toast, scrambles and Benedicts. The crowd favorite is The Stack - sourdough bread topped with bacon, tomato, arugula, sunny eggs & freshly grated pecorino romano. If you’re not in the mood for brunch, their lunch menu is delicious as well. There are a variety of salads and unique sandwiches. A must-try from my perspective is the Caesar, topped with a perfectly poached egg and homemade dressing, or alternatively, the Green Apple and Brie sandwich.

Ants Pants Cafe is small and cozy with an enclosed patio for dining as well. Due to Covid guidelines, they are currently take-out only (delivery is also available). You can order through their walk-up window or you can call ahead. Walk up and order a coffee and pastries or plan to take a full meal. We like to order and walk over to Fitler Square (3 blocks away) or you can sit in “the triangle,” directly next to Ants Pants at South and 23rd. The Triangle is an open area with picnic tables and seating around a small historic fountain.

There are two locations, the other one is on 4th Street.
