Daniel W. Roth Memorial park is an outdoor adventure your kids will remember!

When you ask for ducks, you get LOTS of ducks, geese and even large bass! If you are looking to make a day of being out and about, pack a picnic and head over to this park! Not only does this stop have a playground, but it also has the best pond! You can enjoy your picnic at one of the picnic tables or at the covered pavilion. You can even share your picnic with the ducks and geese (though please be responsible about the wellness of the wildlife). Enjoy a nice walk around the pond and take a snack break at the gazebo on the opposite end (complete with a tree to play hide and seek under) or grab your fishing pole and take advantage of very hungry fish. Small worms are recommended for fishing, they are sneaky and will nibble away at the big ones and avoid getting caught.

The playground is fenced in to ease your mind when kids are playing, but adult supervision is necessary when exploring the duck pond! If you plan on fishing, we encourage you to bring a chair for your comfort and allow others to use the bench.

Across the street, at Cup'a Jo Cafe you can grab a coffee and a snack if you didn't pack a picnic. There is a restroom available at the cafe, but also a Port O' Potty on-site near the pond. You really can’t go wrong with this spot and kids of all ages will enjoy it!

Originally from Williamsport, PA (Home of the Little League World Series) Natasha decided to take the plunge into city life when relocating to Philadelphia in 2007 to be closer to her then boyfriend, now husband. Having lived in Fishtown, on South Street and a few places in between, she really started to feel like home when she moved to Conshohocken. Fast forward a few years, Natasha now resides in Collegeville (Philadelphia suburb) with her husband, 4 year old boy/girl twins and their 130lb Rottweiler. She has been soaking in her new role as a stay at home mom and loves having the chance to explore and discover with her kids! When she is not planning their next adventure, Natasha is enjoying an audible book or practicing her hand lettering! Natasha never misses an opportunity to “sell” her friends and family on places and things she loves and hopes she can continue this with Happyly!
