The Museum of Discovery is a fantastic museum for all ages! We love the museum on any day but especially on a rainy day. There are multiple areas in the museum covering a wide range of topics- our bodies, the world, electricity, weather-specifically weather in Arkansas. There are many animals ranging from snakes to birds to hedgehogs. One of our favorite rooms in the museum is A Room to Grow which is for 6 years and under. This is a great place to escape to when there are field trips with biggers kids because of the age limit on the room. The room has building blocks, magnatiles, gears and track wall, lights, indoor slide structure, and karaoke. I am always thankful for the private nursing room which is tucked away inside this exhibit. There is a changing station, too! I recommend trying out the program Wiggle Worms which is hands on science every week for ages 6 and under on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10:00 or ages 10 and under Thursdays at 3:30. It is free with paid admission and always free to members.

We purchased the family membership because we typically visit the museum weekly and it pays for itself after about 3 visits. A few other benefits we enjoy from the membership is $1 parking  and we have used the reciprocal membership at ASTC Passport Program Members Museum when traveling.
