Warbirds Café

Restaurants where local ingredients are used, and chefs get to put their creative touch on dishes excite me. Warbirds Café is a hidden gem found at the airport in Driggs, ID. Since spring of 2018, a new set of hands was able to revamp both the menu and atmosphere of the restaurant. They created a menu that changes quite frequently, especially with the seasons. The chefs add unique dishes and specials, which is another special attribute of this place! You can tell that each meal is made with creativity, love, joy, and an intention of nourishment.

Warbirds is one of the only places in Teton Valley with a liquor license. They serve delicious specialty cocktails that pair elegantly with your dish. They also have specialty drinks without alcohol that are made with freshly squeezed juices. Make sure you save room for desert because the selection is phenomenal. Everything is homemade from scratch; even the sorbets, ice-cream, and granola! My favorite is when the chef’s make a flourless chocolate cake.

For the kiddos, there are coloring page menus where they can design their own plane! There’s even a museum of aircrafts in the same building as the restaurant. It’s fun for everyone to check out while waiting for food to arrive. If you go while it’s still light out, you’ll be able to watch planes fly in and out. There’s even outdoor seating if you prefer! The atmosphere of this restaurant is welcoming, warm, and family-friendly. It’s pretty spacious and the chefs are very accommodating to make sure that everyone enjoys what they are served. I recommend making reservations, especially if you have a large family or are going at night, as this place is very popular!
